Quiet and calm place to eat out side while taking in the scenery. The food was delicious.

They had live music for brunch today which was great! Food was delish as always and the staff has always been great!

Ashley P was our server and she was very nice! This was my first time eating here and the food was very good! My scallops and shrimp were so fresh! I tasted the grouper and it was awesome!!! I will definitely come back to eat here the next time I’m in town!

The service and the appetizers were top notch...the entrees were terrible. Everything on the entree tasted overcooked and super dried out or was heated from a deep freeze. The only reason it's not a 3 star is because the apps were AMAZING...so strange why one part was so delicious and the other was so bad. Nice deck too.

Stopped in on a business trip for lunch. We found this place on yelp and it did not disappoint. LOVED Alicia and all the food. The drinks were amazing too, Def will be back next time we are in town.

The fish was awesome, between 4 of us we had 3 different types of fish. Very fresh and tasty, will be going back.

So GOOD. Ordered something I would not normally order- Baked snapper with a lemon butter sauce, rice and vegetables. It was all delicious and I would not normally eat the veggies. Sauce was perfect.

My husband and I came in for our anniversary. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly! We had our wedding here last year at this location as well and it was amazing, highly recommended! My husband had the 1885 Black Angus applewood cheeseburger and he says it's the best one he's ever had. I can say the same for the Grilled salmon with house rice and veggies! To finish the night, we had the Chocolate Lava cake with a side of ice cream that was beyond amazing. Definitely the best restaurant in Valparaiso!

We love the Boathouse Landing! I had the Fish Tacos, Mom the gumbo, and Stephanie the Fried Fish Platter! :) Everyone enjoyed their meals! We enjoyed talking to Oliva, the waitress. She is friendly and efficient! She knows my twin sisters, Paula & Patricia; Olivia worked with them years ago! :):):)

By far THE Best seafood I have ever eaten!

First time visiting this little hole on the water (ha, get it? Because hole in the wall... And on the water...). Got the fried coconut chicken tenders. Wish they had a little spice to them, but they were alright. Fries were good and the zesty orange sauce was a good compliment as well. Will probably return to try other menu items, but overall, not impressed.

Fried shrimp is exceptionally good. Grilled shrimp and coconut shrimp are good. Stuffed shrimp was no good. The shrimp and crab dip has a heavy fish flavor. Only 1 server which was stretched thin with too much business. We were given hush puppies with strawberry butter to compensate for wait times which we didn't ask for (nor did we seem impatient so it was a kind gesture) and they were very good. Bar drinks were made well. Service was good considering. Overall price was a little high for lunch.

I’ve been coming here for years when we come to Florida. My whole family loves this place. Lots of good memories sitting on the deck with my family. Good food, good service and wonderful atmosphere

One of the only places in the area that are following the social distancing guidelines and were honest about the wait on the phone. Dinner was delicious, very reasonably priced, and the live music was great!

A really nice place to enjoy a great view and good food. I stopped for lunch and ordered the fish special. It was cooked and spiced perfectly. My server, Alicia, was friendly and accommodating. It is always worth a stop.

Spur of the moment decision to come here for an early dinner. Not busy at all and fantastic service from Genevieve and delicious food. Boom boom shrimp appetizer and blackened fish tacos. Genevieve really did take great care of us with refills and great food recommendations. Even enjoyed the key lime candies with our check.

Great service, food was very good for most part. Chicken pasta was very plain . Boom boom shrimp tacos very good, stuffed mushrooms very good.

My granny was buried that day my whole family went there it was here favorite place server was pleasant thanks for keeping social distancing a guideline that needs to continue till there is a vaccine for covid keep up the good work me and family were very grateful to be served at this time god bless you guys for coming to work that day😄

We used to eat here a lot. Was great then it took a dive and now it's back. Portion sizes seem to be shrinking but the reason I won't be back for a long while had to do with their response to a COCKROACH flying down from the celing and running across the table during our meal. I told the manager and instead of being apologetic she told us it was florida and she sees them all the time at her house. I'm from the coast and roaches on table during a meal is not acceptable, in any area. To not recognize that tells me a lot about how the management there views cleanliness. Just WOW.

The food was outstanding. The best seafood I have had on Niceville. The lobster shrimp bisque was phenomenal. The fried shrimp and scallop combo was wondering. The atmosphere and view completed the experience.

My family got seated outside next to the water. It was a beautiful view with great, expensive food. It was worth it.

The seafood platter was delicious, our server Gabby G did a wonderful job. She was very attentive and fun to be around. The crab cakes are wonderful as well, made with lots of crab. The shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly. Made sure to sign up for their New Year's dinner too.

Amazing food and staff. We were looking for a local family place and we found it here. My husband and I both ordered the Cobia fixed bronzed and it was super flavorful. Our 12 year old ordered chicken alfredo with the chicken grilled bronzed and he ate almost the entire bowl. The 14 year old had the lobster and shrimp bisque and said it was super yummy. Hush puppies and strawberry butter was amazing. Wish I could get those at home.

Omg. Everything I tried was amazing. Wonderful atmosphere. Nicest waitresses. Quick service. No issues whatsoever.

The view was wonderful. The food was very good, except mixed veggies. There were large sliced carrots broccoli and cauliflower. Honestly I don't like carrots anyway but they were all over cooked. The menu had lots of variety. When they list fish with lobster to top it, they meant lobster tail. Not just a few small bits of lobster.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area food was very good and it was also really cheap compared to the restaurants over in Destin especially if you go for lunch. I would highly recommend.

I was in Niceville for a training and searched for a great place to eat. I turned to google and found The Boathouse Landing restaurant. My server, Genevieve, was great and attentive without being overbearing. My steak and fried shrimp were cooked perfect. I will visit this restaurant again when I'm in the area.

Beautiful scenery on the deck and so peaceful. Our little visiting friend, the squirrel whose name I cannot recall, entertained us until the waitresses were able to divert him with a hush puppy; and he then went on his merry way. We arrived at 11am opening time with no crowd. Therefore, great privacy and an enjoyable atmosphere was available to us. Our waitress was sweet, patient, knew the menu well and took time to verify questions with the chef. Now the food - oh my gosh, the crab cake was delightful and deliciously served in a sauce which was light and containsed fresh tomato, corn, etc. The plate was arranged beautifully. The red fish was yummy, fresh and deep fried to a light golden brown, mmmph! Now the shrimp and grits were uniquely different and tasty. Please do not neglect the hush puppies with whipped strawberry (yes, you can see the bits of strawberries) butter. Slap ya mama on that one! ENJOY!

The stuffed shrimp and the shrimp and grits were both delicious, the grouper not so much.

Great place to eat! Inside and outside dining offered. Menu has a nice variety including a selection of gluten free options. They always have a daily special that has never disappointed. Nice service. If you have been thinking about trying, do it!
